Highlights: |
Below
are examples of the work undertaken in the
past.. |
|
|
Alto Executive (Director):
Alto Executive is a specialist resourcing
company that focuses on providing highly skilled
and experienced professionals primarily as
interim and contract resources but occasionally
on permanent basis. I was invited to review
and enhance the company service propositions.
Over 12 months period, conducted a complete
review of the business, assumed account management
responsibilities, met a number of clients
on regular basis, interviewed many senior
candidates and successfully placed a number
of highly skilled interim professionals on
a variety of assignments. I published a strategy
document setting out service propositions,
presentation material and a business plan
outlining a move towards a more focused "interim
service" business.
PHH Corporation (Global Strategy &
Applications Director): A multi-national
corporation originally based in the USA, Mufid
was responsible for the introduction of global
strategy for card services and business applications
platforms covering North America and European
operations, resulting in significant process
improvements including capacity and cost.
GE Capital (Interim Change Programme
Manager): Reviewed the retail card
issuing business processes and introduced
an efficient and accountable re-carding methodology
covering end-to-end process of in-store branded
retail cards from marketing to card production,
mailing and IT systems support. Introduced
£multi-million new printing and mailing equipment
and systems which increased the organisation
capacity by 10 fold and reduced the unit cost
by half.
Levi Strauss Europe (Programme Office
Director): Set up and managed their
programme office function, including the introduction
of disciplined and structured performance
monitoring and reporting processes for their
$200 million business transformation programme.
The programme eventually achieved 25% in cost
savings and over 50% reduction in the product
development cycle.
Royal Bank of Scotland (Programme & Corporate
Governance Consultant): Following
the acquisition of NatWest Bank, defined corporate
governance and processes for the "Retail Lending"
business integration programme, set up a programme
office function including appropriate controls
and processes, recruited, trained and mentored
staff including the office manager. The programme
was completed ahead of schedule and realised
significant savings in the cost structure.
