Alto Executive (Director): Alto Executive is a specialist resourcing company that focuses on providing highly skilled and experienced professionals primarily as interim and contract resources but occasionally on permanent basis. I was invited to review and enhance the company service propositions. Over 12 months period, conducted a complete review of the business, assumed account management responsibilities, met a number of clients on regular basis, interviewed many senior candidates and successfully placed a number of highly skilled interim professionals on a variety of assignments. I published a strategy document setting out service propositions, presentation material and a business plan outlining a move towards a more focused "interim service" business.

PHH Corporation (Global Strategy & Applications Director): A multi-national corporation originally based in the USA, Mufid was responsible for the introduction of global strategy for card services and business applications platforms covering North America and European operations, resulting in significant process improvements including capacity and cost.

GE Capital (Interim Change Programme Manager): Reviewed the retail card issuing business processes and introduced an efficient and accountable re-carding methodology covering end-to-end process of in-store branded retail cards from marketing to card production, mailing and IT systems support. Introduced £multi-million new printing and mailing equipment and systems which increased the organisation capacity by 10 fold and reduced the unit cost by half.

Levi Strauss Europe (Programme Office Director): Set up and managed their programme office function, including the introduction of disciplined and structured performance monitoring and reporting processes for their $200 million business transformation programme. The programme eventually achieved 25% in cost savings and over 50% reduction in the product development cycle.

Royal Bank of Scotland (Programme & Corporate Governance Consultant)
: Following the acquisition of NatWest Bank, defined corporate governance and processes for the "Retail Lending" business integration programme, set up a programme office function including appropriate controls and processes, recruited, trained and mentored staff including the office manager. The programme was completed ahead of schedule and realised significant savings in the cost structure.
